About Me You probably aren't going to read this, so let's try to keep it simple. I'm from Plano, TX (just north of Dallas - GO MAVS!), and insanely homesick. I am crossing my fingers that I can make it back in the next couple of years (hopefully in time for an internship...). I consider my close friends my family, as they are always there for me, and I am fiercely loyal to them. I am starting on my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design through the Art Institute. I would love to be finished early and move through my program in about 3 years. I love music, and can even be considered anal retentive about my collection. I love being crafty. As long as I have the opportunity to create, I am happy. I have a file folder BURSTING with ideas that I jot down. I love beads, jewelery, fabric. And I could easily blow - and have - way more money than I should at a craft store! My week doesn't feel complete unless I stop in at least once! I am addicted - craft stores, Lowes, and Office Depot = LOVE. I'm a very eclectic person - so don't try to "group" me. I am who I am. Yes, I am one of those crazy redheads. I have a short fuse. And I throw things if very angry. The best explanation I've ever heard is, "You just have to realise, she has A LOT of Celtic blood running through her." I love office supplies, home design tv, pinup girls - actually ANYTHING vintage and/or from the 1940s, my '99 VW Passat. Oh, and I can kick ass at Mario Kart Double Dash like you wouldn't believe. So watch it! ;] I like meeting people who share my interests and who can hold an intelligent conversation.

Is so chaotic!! Saw Hot Fuzz tonite. Good stuff. School is kicking my ass. Well, math. Just failed a quiz. But last I heard, I had a 3.8 GPA. Can't complain too much I guess. Going to Loreena McKennitt tomorrow,and I am SO excited. I guess my excitement has been a bit diminished by the upcoming Tori Amos album. My copies are preordered - still need to order the vinyl edition - and I have been pretty wrapped up in that and news with that. I think it will kick in tomorrow that I am going to be seeing her. I have my mp3 player loaded with "Live in Toronto and Paris" - and I need to put Ancient Muse on there. Gotta stick with my rituals!! And then the 5th I get to see the Brit's favourite drunk - Amy Winehouse. Busy next two weeks. I have a new class starting soon, and THANK GODS it is ar arty one, b/c I need to create - and Colour Theory will be very good at that one. Esp being a female! Automatic one up on all the male classmates I will have. And that alone is fascinating to me - that women see colour better than men. Any way it is late and I have 50 million things to do tomorrow before I head up to Pennsylvania. I have packages to mail, lectures to read. *Head explodes* It is bed time.
